Matrox Graphics and Advanced Seismic Technologies (AST) today announced that they will be partnering up at the Society of Exploration Geophysicists 2011 (SEG) to showcase a joint seismic imaging solution. Powered by the Matrox M9188 multi-display graphics card, the expansive 4X2, eight-monitor setup will drive 3D seismic data information from AST's Oasis processing and imaging software.

Matrox personnel will also be delivering in-booth product presentations on its latest solutions for exploration and reservoir simulation, including Matrox Extio KVM extenders and Mura MPX Series display wall controller boards.

Matrox Mura MPX video wall controller boards offer a unique single-slot design that supports up to four inputs and four outputs on the same PCI Express x16 Gen2 board, with each leveraging 64 Gb/sec duplex data for flawless display of HD input captures on mid- to-large-scale video walls.

Matrox Extio F2208 and F2408 KVM extenders allow a computer's displays, keyboard, and mouse to be separated by up to one kilometer (3280 feet) from each host system with lag-free functionality via fiber-optic cable.

For more information, show attendees can visit booth AST booth 3559 at SEG 2011, or contact Matrox Graphics directly to book an appointment.
